Protection of human life and environmental health through sustainable management of agrarian landscapes

The project partnership is formed by 4 partners, the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food of Ss. Cyril & Methodius University in Skopje, Municipality of Volvi and the InterBalkan Environmental Center.

The project reflects the jointly identified need to strengthen the collaboration between the competent authorities of the two countries with the aim to create common methodologies, guidelines, strategies, sustainable structures and harmonized data in water and soil ecosystem monitoring and management through the use of advanced technology for the promotion of protection of human life and environmental health.

Consortis was involved in the implementation of: the project’s Action plan, the Inventory of economical activities study area, the Regional Strategies Guidelines for the protection of human life and environmental health for Greece, the development of the project’s Geodatabase, web GIS application and manual and last but not least the project’s management & coordination (progress reports and meetings).
