Georgios Tsakoumis

CEO and founder of Consortis

George Tsakoumis is an accomplished surveying engineer with over two decades of experience in town planning, spatial planning, and infrastructure projects. As the founder and CEO of both Consortis Geospatial and Consortis, he has led comprehensive technical advisory and management consulting services for public and private sector clients. His companies specialize in project management, urban planning, real estate development, and the application of geoinformatics technologies. He has been instrumental in coordinating and developing surveying, cadastral, environmental, hydraulic, architectural design and traffic management studies. 

Mr. Tsakoumis  holds a Degree in Rural and Surveying Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Environmental Design of Cities and Buildings from the Hellenic Open University. His educational background provides a strong foundation in geosciences and environmental design, enabling him to address complex engineering challenges. His skills include proficient use of AutoCAD, GIS software, and comprehensive knowledge of energy and environmental issues. 

He has held significant positions in professional organizations, including his present position as a Vice President of the TCG’s (Technical Chamber of Greece) Assembly Presidium, President of the Technical Chamber of Greece's Department of Central Macedonia and President of the Association of Rural and Surveying Engineers of Northern Greece. His leadership in these roles has involved organizing national conferences and professional seminars, showcasing his effective communication skills, network-building abilities, and team leadership. Mr. Tsakoumis's dedication and contributions have made a significant impact on the engineering community.

MARGARITI

Eleni Margariti

Administration Manager

Eleni Margariti is a Geoinformatics and Topography Engineer with an MBA, showcasing a unique blend of technical and managerial expertise. Since 2004, she has played a pivotal role in the growth and organization of Consortis, working alongside senior management to streamline operations and enhance service quality.

Mrs Margariti began her career in the Topography and Cadastre Department, contributing to critical studies and projects. Her dedication and organizational acumen led her to manage bids for public tenders and provide consulting services to local government organizations. Certified as a Quality Assurance Inspector in 2009, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in quality management.

In her current role as Administration Manager, Mrs Margariti is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of Consortis. Her attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to foster collaboration make her an indispensable asset to the organization. Her involvement in company events further reflects her dedication to creating a cohesive and vibrant work environment.

ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΔΗΣ

Stavros Oikonomidis

Financial Manager

Stavros Oikonomidis is a seasoned Financial Manager at Consortis, with a robust foundation in Infrastructure Civil Engineering from the Alexandrio Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. His career spans over two decades, during which he has developed extensive expertise in financial management, contract oversight, and organizational development.

Starting his career in topographic data collection, Mr. Oikonomidis quickly advanced to leadership roles, gaining in-depth knowledge of Greece's geography and infrastructure needs. Since joining Consortis in 2006, he has been instrumental in expanding the company's capabilities, overseeing critical financial operations, certifications, and strategic partnerships.

Known for his consistency, precision, and ability to thrive under pressure, he ensures that his department operates efficiently, even in high-stress environments. His methodical approach and commitment to excellence make him a key figure in Consortis' continued growth and success.

ΑΝΤΩΝΙΟΥ

Nikolaos Antoniou

Business Development Director

Nikolaos Antoniou is a surveying engineer and expert in technical project management. A graduate of the Department of Rural and Surveying Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he also holds a postgraduate degree specializing in Project Management.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Antoniou began his career in 2002 as a freelance surveyor. In 2005, he became a partner in a newly established engineering firm that, through innovation and collaboration, evolved into today’s Consortis, a leading force in the sector.

Mr. Antoniou has honed his expertise in topography, cadastre, urban planning, legislation, and public procurement. His deep understanding of these areas, coupled with years of hands-on experience, has been instrumental in his rise to the position of Development Director at Consortis.

Since 2018, Mr. Antoniou has been managing one of Consortis’ most significant contracts: a comprehensive cadastral study and the provision of support services for the creation of the National Cadastre in the remaining areas of Thessaloniki within the Central Macedonia Region.

A strong advocate for professional growth and continuous learning, Mr. Antoniou actively participates in national and international conferences. His leadership roles in professional associations, including the Central Macedonia Public Works Consultants Association (SMEDEKEM) and the Hellenic Association of Rural and Surveying Engineers (PSATM), underscore his commitment to advancing the field. Since 2024, he has also been serving as a member of the Governing Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE/TKM).

Known for his dynamic personality and his communication skills, Mr. Antoniou plays a pivotal role in Consortis’ development through innovative approaches and effective collaboration.

ΠΕΙΤΣΗ

Alexandra Peitsi

Technical Manager

Alexandra Peitsi is a civil engineer and technical manager with extensive expertise in the construction and consulting sectors. A graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she has demonstrated versatility in addressing the diverse challenges of engineering.

Her career began in construction, where she worked on both public and private projects. Collaborating with renowned companies, she gained valuable experience in project supervision, as well as financial and technical management.

In 2016, Mrs Peitsi joined Consortis as Head of Consulting Services and Tender Department, where she showcased her organizational, coordination, and communication skills. Her role involved managing interdisciplinary teams, liaising with public authorities, and streamlining project operations across various departments.

Since 2019, Mrs. Peitsi has served as an executive partner and Technical Manager at Consortis. Her role involves overseeing the implementation of all company contracts, ensuring adherence to technical standards, and driving operational excellence. With a passion for professional growth, she is dedicated to staying updated on industry advancements to support the company’s development.

ΑΝΔΡΕΟΥ

Dr. Eleni Andreou

Head of the Architectural Studies Department

Dr. Eleni Andreou, Partner and Head of the Architectural Studies Department at Consortis, is a distinguished architect with a degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Specializing in environmental design, she has completed postgraduate studies and earned a doctorate in the field, focusing on the environmental design of buildings and open spaces.

Her professional experience spans a broad range, including roles as an Architect Engineer in the private sector and a lecturer in higher education, through cooperation with University Institutions. Dr. Andreou's expertise in environmental design, energy efficiency of buildings, thermal comfort and microclimatic conditions is reflected in her extensive research and numerous publications.

At Consortis, she leads the Architectural Studies Department, managing complex projects in urban design, urban regeneration, landscape architecture, architectural design, reuse and energy upgrading of existing buildings, restoration studies of historic buildings and interior design. She is known for her innovative design methodology, using advanced tools to assess and enhance environmental comfort, ensuring each project has a unique identity and meets client visions. Additionally, she has participated in Spatial Planning and Architectural competitions with prize-winning entries.

Dr. Andreou also contributes to research and development, participating in writing proposals and coordinating European program projects related to the built environment.

ΚΥΡΙΑΚΙΔΟΥ

Chara Kyriakidou

Head of the Urban Planning & Land Development Department

Chara Kyriakidou has been the Head of the Urban Planning & Land Development Department at Consortis since its inception in 2005. She holds a degree in architecture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master of Excellence in Architecture from the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam. Additionally, she earned a Master of Science in Environmental Design of Cities and Buildings from the Hellenic Open University.

Her work emphasizes on efficient urban systems that comply with environmental protection standards and supporting municipalities on urban planning issues. Chara is also proficient in real estate appraisals, from the engineering and land use perspective, employing high-end urban planning tools like GIS multicriteria methods. Her core principles are environment, sustainability, and aesthetics.

Mrs Kyriakidou is an active member of several professional committees, including the Town Planning Issues Council of the Regional Authority of Thessaloniki and the Committee for Urban Planning and Development of the Technical Chamber of Greece. With two decades of experience, she specializes in urban expansion, land use, and town planning projects across various regions in Greece. 

She continuously enhances her expertise through online courses on urban and sustainable planning and active participation in conferences. She is fluent in English, French, and Italian.

ΧΑΤΖΗΓΙΑΝΝΗΣ

Dr. Antonios Chatzigiannis

Head of Hydraulic Engineering Department

Dr. Antonios Chatzigiannis, head of the hydraulic department at Consortis, is an accomplished engineer specializing in hydraulic and sanitary engineering with a doctorate from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. With over 28 years of experience, he excels in planning, designing, constructing, and managing infrastructure projects for both public and private sectors.

Dr. Chatzigiannis is renowned for his expertise in hydraulic systems, including water distribution networks, stormwater management, and flood control systems. His proficiency in sanitary engineering encompasses wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, and environmental sanitation projects. He is also adept at project management, ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of large-scale infrastructure projects. As a technical consultant, he provides expert advice and innovative solutions to optimize project outcomes.

At Consortis, Dr. Chatzigiannis is a key decision-maker in strategic planning and development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for project success and organizational growth. He mentors junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence. His leadership ensures projects adhere to technical standards and regulatory requirements while delivering optimal results.

ΠΑΝΤΕΛΗΣ

Athanasios Pantelis

Head of the Transportation and Infrastructure Design Department

Athanasios Pantelis is the head of the Transportation and Infrastructure Design Department at Consortis, with a career spanning over 30 years in road and highway infrastructure design. As a certified Road Safety Inspector by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of Greece since 2019, he has led numerous projects aimed at enhancing road safety across various regions of Greece.

He is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Association of Technical Surveyors of Engineers of Northern Greece, and the Association of Public Works Researchers of Central Macedonia. His academic involvement includes teaching as a Research Fellow in the infrastructure works department, at the Technological Scientific Institute of Thessaloniki.

Mr. Pantelis has participated in numerous international symposiums and training seminars on highway geometric design. His key responsibilities include road safety auditing, planning significant road infrastructure projects for the Ministry of Transport and infrastructure of Greece, and making critical interventions in existing infrastructures to improve road safety.

Fluent in English, he holds a degree in surveying engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His professional ethos is characterized by a commitment to meeting schedules and specifications, understanding customer expectations and ensuring sustainability and environmental respect in his projects.

ΔΙΑΜΑΝΤΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ

Thanos Diamantopoulos

Head of Surveying & Cadastre Department

Thanos Diamantopoulos is a highly skilled surveying and cadastral engineer with over two decades of professional experience. Holding a degree in Rural and Surveying Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thanos has developed a profound expertise in land surveying, cadastral systems, and modern surveying methods.

Beginning his career as a freelancer in 2003, he acquired extensive experience in topography and construction, specializing in surveying, land registry, and cadastral systems. His tenure in the construction sector for over a decade refined his technical skills and broadened his practical knowledge in the field.

In 2015, Mr. Diamantopoulos joined Consortis, where he expanded his expertise to encompass photogrammetry, geographic information systems (GIS), and advanced surveying technologies. A certified UAS operator, he is proficient in industry-leading software, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS, GGCAD, and PHOTOMOD Lite.

As Head of the Surveying & Cadastre Department, Mr. Diamantopoulos plays a pivotal role in planning and executing projects with precision and efficiency. His leadership and technical insight ensure the successful delivery of projects, fostering innovation and excellence within his team.

Mr. Diamantopoulos is committed to continuous learning and the application of cutting-edge technologies in surveying. His meticulous approach and collaborative mindset make him a trusted professional in his field.

ΜΑΝΤΟΥΖΑ

Ahi Mantouza

Head of Environmental Studies Department

Ahi Mantouza is an Environmental Engineer with a degree from the Polytechnic School of Democritus University of Thrace and two postgraduate degrees: "Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development" and "Water Resources and Environmental Management."

She possesses extensive experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), climate resilience evaluations for infrastructure projects, and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) for public and private ventures. Her expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) strengthens her ability to manage and analyze environmental data effectively.

Driven by a passion for addressing environmental challenges, Mrs Mantouza has participated in research and innovation projects such as PEARLS, POSBEMED2, CESME, WET-AID, and TERRA-MED, focusing on topics like Renewable Energy and Circular Economy. Her experience includes design, proposal writing, and implementation of co-funded projects under European territorial cooperation programs.

With a New Zealand heritage, Mrs Mantouza brings exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Her involvement in international and multicultural teams highlights her dedication to fostering collaboration and advancing innovation.

She actively participates in committees and organizations such as the Permanent Environmental Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece/Central Macedonia, the Northern Greece Committee of the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association, the European Water Resources Association (EWRA), and the Panhellenic Association of Environmental Engineers (PASDEE).

ΝΤΟΥΛΑΣ

Alexandros Ntoulas

Head of Geospatial Services Dpt.

Alexandros Ntoulas, Partner and Technical Director at Consortis Geospatial, is a Surveying Engineer with an M.Sc. in Geoinformatics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has over 16 years of experience and a solid technical background in the design, management, and implementation of GIS, photogrammetry, and topography projects.

He began his professional career during his studies, participating in topography projects. After his graduation, he participated in the implementation of construction projects such as the redevelopment of the new coastal front of Thessaloniki, the M2 building of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, and numerous residential projects. Subsequently, he worked with several companies on a variety of major surveying, cadastral, transport, and GIS projects in Greece and the Western Balkans. He leads Consortis Geospatial, managing complex projects in earth observation, web/mobile app development and GIS consulting services.

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Hellenic Association of Rural & Surveying Engineers, and the record of Consulting Engineers of the Greek General Secretariat of Public Works.

As a technology enthusiast, Mr. Ntoulas has delivered numerous tutorials, presentations, and papers at conferences, exhibitions, and workshops in Greece and abroad. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
