AI is Reshaping the Future of Digital Transformation!

A pivotal conference for the future of Artificial Intelligence in Greece brought together thought leaders and practitioners to explore strategic priorities across multiple sectors — from national AI policy and healthcare, to smart cities, SMEs, start-ups, and defense applications.

The event opened with a keynote address by Nikolaos Tzollas, Deputy Governor for Digital Governance of the Region of Central Macedonia. His remarks emphasized the region’s critical role in advancing innovative technology initiatives and his influential contributions to shaping regional digital transformation strategy.

Drawing on insights from the event, the Consortis Geospatial team identified key opportunity areas in the application of AI:
• Smart city solutions (tree health monitoring, road damage detection, traffic management, flood prevention)
• Development of AI-powered corporate chatbots and agents
• AI-assisted programming and code development training for staff
• Cutting-edge defense technologies, including drone simulation systems powered by AI
