Consortis Geospatial: Sponsorship of the 13th Panhellenic HellasGIS Conference 2024

We are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the 13th Panhellenic HellasGIS Conference 2024, a premier event for geoinformatics where groundbreaking ideas and innovative solutions meet the real-world needs of professionals in the field.

With many years of experience in geoinformatics, Consortis Geospatial not only supports the conference but also actively participates in scientific discussions by presenting one of our most innovative projects.
Consortis Geospatial Presentation:

Our specialized engineers, Kleopatra Beka (Electrical & Computer Engineer, MSc) and Christina Hassan-Doganidou (Surveyor & Mapping Engineer, MSc), will showcase our research titled:
"Road Network Recognition from Satellite Images Using Machine Learning Models."

In this project, we leverage cutting-edge technology by employing the DeepLabV3+ model, one of the most advanced tools for image segmentation. By utilizing innovative machine learning techniques and data processing, we deliver high-accuracy solutions for the automatic mapping of road networks. The applications of this technology are critical, contributing to disaster management, urban development, and infrastructure support.

Why This Research Matters:
· It provides fast and accurate mapping, reducing time and operational costs.
· It supports decision-making in critical situations, such as natural disasters or infrastructure needs.
· It enhances the use of satellite data in both local and international GIS applications.
At the 13th Panhellenic HellasGIS Conference 2024, you will have the opportunity to meet our team, discuss the potential of geospatial solutions, and see how innovation can transform the future of mapping and crisis management.
