The LUP of Paionia lays the foundation for the spatial planning of tomorrow.

The first briefing session on the Local Urban Plan (LUP) of the Municipality of Paionia was successfully held. This initiative aims to promote sustainable development, protect the environment, and strengthen the municipality’s resilience to climate change.

Consortis is actively leading the project as the appointed contractor. The company's General Director, Mr. Giorgos Tsakoumis, who also serves as the official representative of the consortium of appointed contractors, presented key aspects of the strategic framework.

Consortis’ project team is composed of distinguished experts, including:

  • Alexandra Peitsi, Civil Engineer and Technical Director at Consortis
  • Dr. Anastasia Tasopoulou, Urban and Regional Planner, member of the scientific committee
  • Achi Mantouza, Environmental Engineer, responsible for the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA)

Through a participatory process and robust scientific methodology, a comprehensive urban development framework is being shaped. The plan will define the boundaries of urban units and settlements, land uses, building regulations, transportation and infrastructure networks, and adaptation strategies in response to the climate crisis.

At Consortis, we remain committed to shaping sustainable spaces with expertise, integrity, and a clear vision—always aligned with the evolving needs of local communities.
