Presentation of the Local Urban Plan of the Municipality of Paionia

The Local Urban Plan (LUP) of the Municipality of Paionia, a project of strategic importance for spatial planning and sustainable development in the region, was recently presented.

The presentation was conducted on behalf of Consortis by Alexandra Peitsi, Technical Director, Chara Kyriakidou, Head of the Land Development Department, and Natasa Tasopoulou, Scientific Associate. They outlined the main objectives and methodology of the plan, focusing on:

• the rational organization of land uses
• the protection of the natural and cultural environment
• the structuring of productive activities, and
• the improvement of residents’ quality of life

Consortis, as part of an association of economic operators, is responsible for preparing the LUP for the Municipal Units of Polykastro, Axioupoli, Goumenissa, Evropi, and Livadia. This work is part of the “Urban Planning Reforms” program, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund – Greece 2.0, with co-financing from the European Union (NextGenerationEU).

With extensive experience and expertise in spatial and urban planning projects, Consortis actively contributes to shaping the country’s new urban map, promoting sustainable development, resilience, and modern urban design.
