Smart Cities Start with Smart Data: Highlights from HPP 2026

As part of the conference, Consortis Geospatial’s Technical Director, Mr. Alexandros Ntoulas, presented the role of cartography in the mapping and effective management of public real estate through the Landify application—a modern geoinformation system for property management.

Throughout the conference, insightful proposals were put forward to address long-standing legal and institutional challenges. Particular emphasis was placed on:

• leveraging public real estate as a strategic tool to address the housing crisis,
• strengthening the role of municipalities, supported by research conducted in collaboration with KEDE (Central Union of Municipalities of Greece),
• and highlighting the contribution of public property as a driver of sustainable development.
