Sustainable urban mobility is one of the main challenges facing cities in the EU and a key concern for many European citizens, as road transport is one of the primary sources of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions in urban areas. The cost of traffic congestion to society is estimated at €270 billion annually.

We are pleased to announce that our company, Consortis, has undertaken the study for the flood protection of Alexandroupolis, specifically for the areas located to the east of the city. The contract was signed on Thursday, September 12, 2024, by the Mayor of Alexandroupolis, Giannis Zampoukis, and our company’s CEO, Giorgos Tsakoumis.
